Job summary

You will work with U.S. Treasuries, agencies, corporates, municipals, and securitized products, aligning with client objectives while providing analytical support and collaboration with the sales team to drive business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in asset management, trading, or fixed income research.
• Strong financial and credit analysis skills for fixed income securities.
• Familiarity with key economic indicators and interest rate dynamics.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, Excel, and other research platforms.
• Experience with portfolio management systems (e.g., Bloomberg, MarketAxess).
• Progress towards CFA, CMT, or an advanced degree (MBA) would help.

Responsibilities

• Manage and trade short-duration fixed income portfolios across U.S. Treasuries, agencies, corporates, municipals, and money market instruments.
• Ensure consistent portfolio management across client accounts and align with target allocations.
• Cultivate relationships with Broker-Dealers for best execution.
• Analyze securities and sectors based on macro conditions and rate outlooks.
• Provide customized analytical support and investment recommendations with sales team.
• Develop fixed income strategies across LGIPs, Money Market Funds, and SMAs.
