Job summary

ManhattanLife Insurance and Annuity Company in Houston seeks a Fixed Income Credit Analyst to join the investment team. You will perform comprehensive credit analysis of corporate issuers and prepare investment memoranda for committee review.

The role requires evaluating financial strength, capital structure and liquidity, with responsibilities including monitoring existing holdings and communicating with the investment team. Light travel within office locations may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Math, Finance or Business Administration
MBA or CFA progress preferred
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and ability to work under deadlines

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive fundamental credit analysis of corporate issuers across industries.
Evaluate issuers' financial strength, business strategy, and capital structure.
Conduct relative value analysis of corporate bonds and identify opportunities.
Analyze macroeconomic and company-specific factors impacting credit performance.
Prepare written credit reports and investment memoranda for the Investment Committee.
Monitor and make recommendations for existing bond holdings.
