Fixed Income and Leveraged Credit Technology Lead

As a Lead Engineer on the Fixed Income and Leveraged Credit team, you will partner with the Macquarie Asset Management business and take part in end-to-end solution delivery.

What role will you play?

In your role, you will lead a team to design and build clean, efficient, robust and reliable solutions that deliver to our business and our future state architecture, owning the solution end to end. You will also share responsibility towards improving quality, modernising our stack, continuous delivery, production support and are passionate about growing upon our DevOps principles.

What you offer
  • Possess an agile mindset and an impressive software engineering track record across a range of technologies
  • Deep knowledge of Cloud technologies (Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform), Python frameworks and exposure to highly transactional message-based systems, complex event processing and microservices architectures covering batch, real-time, synchronous and asynchronous patterns
  • Possess skills in databases platforms
  • Experience building partnerships with senior stakeholders and gaining a deep understanding of the business needs to deliver innovative technology solutions that solve business problems
  • Ability to champion technology excellence, practice and innovate technologies to automate as well as simplify and innovate the technology landscape.
