Job summary

Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. is seeking a Staff Accountant for a service company in the Lewisville, TX area.

The role requires 2+ years of experience and offers a hybrid schedule (2 days in office, 3 days work from home) with a salary range of $80,000–$85,000 plus bonus. Responsibilities include managing the fixed assets ledger, capitalization, depreciation, retirements, transfers, and fixed asset reporting in support of audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of experience, preferably with fixed assets.
• Understanding of GAAP.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed assets ledger to ensure accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Administer capitalization, depreciation, retirements, and transfers of fixed assets.
• Perform reconciliations of fixed asset accounts.
• Adhere to GAAP and applicable regulations in fixed asset reporting.
• Support operations to track construction-in-progress and capitalization.
• Provide reports and schedules to support internal and external audits.
• Identify areas for process improvement and lead related initiatives.
