Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Fixed Asset Manager to join our finance team, driving accurate capitalization, depreciation, and amortization across a multi-property portfolio.

You will lead fixed asset reporting, oversee capex activity, and coordinate with corporate accounting on ASC 842 and related GAAP requirements, while mentoring a small team to strengthen internal controls and system processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years progressive accounting experience with fixed asset/capex.
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Experience with ERP implementations or system conversions preferred.
• Hospitality accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 200+ fixed asset depreciation and amortization schedules across the portfolio
• Track capex project spending and close out purchase orders in the accounting system
• Prepare and post expense-to-fixed-asset reclassifications
• Reconcile construction-in-progress accounts and reclass on project completion
• Deliver monthly fixed asset reporting to ownership across the portfolio
• Oversee capitalization vs expense determinations under GAAP
• Coordinate with corporate accounting on right-of-use assets and ASC 842
