Job summary

Salamander Middleburg is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Rooms Inspector to join the luxury housekeeping team at our Forbes Five-Star property in Middleburg, VA.

You will conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms, coach staff to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, and ensure rooms are guest-ready and brand compliant.

This role requires 2 years of luxury hotel housekeeping experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication in English (Spanish helpful).

Qualifications

• Requires strong attention to detail in evaluating guest rooms and suites.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to coach staff and document findings.
• Bilingual English & Spanish skills preferred to assist diverse guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms and suites for cleanliness, presentation, maintenance, and safety.
• Ensure rooms are guest-ready and meet Forbes Five-Star standards and Salamander brand expectations.
• Identify and document housekeeping, cleanliness, maintenance, and safety deficiencies.
• Inspect VIP rooms, priority arrivals, and special-request rooms for exceptional presentation.
• Provide coaching, direction, and feedback to housekeeping team when standards are not met.
• Maintain accurate room inspection records and update room status; communicate concerns to departments for resolution.
