TITLE: Fabrication Operator 1
REPORTS TO: Fabrication Supervisor

Operates plastic fabrication machines such as cut-off saws, pullers, pneumatic operated bellers, bending equipment, electrical heaters and water-cooling tanks. Uses various hand tools such as tape measurers, calipers, go/ no go gauges and wrenches in the fabrication of rigid PVC products.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Experience with computers and basic keyboarding skills.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in changing situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
