Job summary

Scheels in The Colony, TX is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member for a dynamic retail role. You will assist customers in fitting rooms, answer calls, stock and prepare merchandise for the floor, and support store leadership with daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures customers are receiving world class customer service and attention in the fitting rooms.
• Answer all incoming calls in a friendly, professional and pleasant disposition.
• Be knowledgeable and courteous while assisting customers and transferring calls to appropriate associates or areas for further assistance.
• Assist in general office duties including mail service, sorting and opening mail, and assisting other office positions as needed.
• Create daily pocket schedules and signs for stores.
• Contribute to projects for the Leadership team as needed.
• Develop product knowledge and collaborate with sales associates to meet daily selling goals.
• Focus on fashion trends and customer needs.
• Assist with check-in/check-out of fitting rooms and merchandise transfers to the floor.

Create daily pocket schedules, make signs for all shops

Assist in various projects for members of the Leadership team as needed

Development of product knowledge and partners with sales associates to help achieve daily selling goals

Focuses on fashion trends

Checks customers in and out of rooms, while monitoring amount of merchandise the customer has in the fitting room

Prepares merchandise (buttons, zips, etc.) to return to the selling floor

Be knowledgeable to answer question converting location, price and use of merchandise

Contribute to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotes personal growth

Demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and problem solving skills

Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies and procedures

Ability to complete basic mathematical equations

Compensation:

• Compensation for this position can range from 17+/h depending on experience and skills.

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma, or general education degree (GED); 1-3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Schedule:

Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between9a.m. and 9p.m., Monday through Saturday, 11a.m. and 7p.m., Sunday. Average hours per week is 41 hours.
