Manpower, Inc. is recruiting for a Fitter position on our client’s fabrication team in the United States. You will read blueprints, lay out and assemble steel components, and perform tack welding to ensure precise joints.

This 2nd shift and weekend shift opportunity offers competitive pay and full benefits, with a focus on safety and quality. Growth opportunities exist in fabrication and leadership roles.

We are seeking skilledFitters to join our client's fabrication team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with blueprint reading, layout, and fabrication experience who are looking for long-term stability, competitive pay, and advancement opportunities.

Available Shifts

2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM

Weekend Shift Friday - Sunday 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 5:00 PM- 5:00 AM

What You'll Do

As a Fitter, you'll play a critical role in preparing and assembling steel components.Responsibilities include:

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
• Lay out, align, and fit steel components to exact dimensions
• Perform tack welding to secure components before final welding
• Verify measurements and maintain quality standards
• Safely operate overhead cranes, hand tools, and power tools
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and quality requirements
• Work collaboratively with welders and production teams

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of fitting, fabrication, or structural steel layout experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Experience using tape measures and layout tools accurately
• Familiarity with tack welding processes
• Experience operating cranes, grinders, and fabrication equipment preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
