Patriot Erectors, LLC. is hiring a Fitter/Fabricator to assemble and fit structural materials into various assemblies. You will work with the Shop Superintendent to ensure high-quality production and conformance to blueprints.

We seek candidates with extensive fitting and fabricating experience, a high school diploma or GED with training, and welding & OSHA certifications. Opportunity to grow within a safety‑driven team and a modern Texas facility.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in fitting and fabricating.
• High school diploma or GED with 12 months of training or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in reading shop drawings, high motivation, and ability to work independently.
• Current welding and OSHA certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit structural frames, bridge parts, beams and columns.
• Read and interpret blueprints to plan fitting operations.
• Layout and fit detail parts with precision.
• Verify the accuracy of fit-ups before final inspection.

About the Role

As a Fitter/Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in our operations, assembling and fitting structural, plate, and mechanical materials into various assemblies. You’ll work closely with the Shop Superintendent and other team members to ensure high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and Fit: Work with structural forms like frames, bridge parts, beams, and columns.
• Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret blueprints to plan fitting operations.
• Precision Work: Use your fitter skills to layout and fit detail parts accurately.
• Quality Assurance: Verify the accuracy of fit-ups before inspection.
