Job summary

Patriot Erectors, LLC. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.

You will perform emergency repairs, routine maintenance, and preventive tasks on CNC drill lines, plate processors, and overhead cranes while reading manuals and work orders to plan service. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, plus electrical maintenance education or an apprenticeship are a plus; you should be able to lift up to 75

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Electrical maintenance degree or completion of a craft apprenticeship is a plus.
  • Strong math skills are essential for troubleshooting and calibration.
  • Ability to work independently with safe working habits.
  • Detail orientation and ethical conduct are required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment per manufacturer specs.
  • Perform emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
  • Carry out simple machinist duties and routine mechanical tasks.
  • Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test equipment after service.
  • Read equipment manuals and work orders to plan maintenance.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on CNC drill lines, plate processor, and cranes.
  • Perform plumbing and carpentry tasks as needed.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
  • Monitor quality and report any unusual situations to supervision.
  • Participate in safety programs and keep work areas clean.
  • Adapt to additional related duties as assigned.

About the role

Are you a skilled technician with a knack for troubleshooting and repairing production equipment? Patriot Erectors, LLC., an AISC Certified Steel Fabrication and Erection company, is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure our equipment runs smoothly and efficiently.

Summary/Objective

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Emergency Repairs: Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance during machine service.
  • Machinist Duties: Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
  • Mechanic Skills: Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair skills for production machines.
  • Maintenance: Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnostics: Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test equipment, and make adjustments.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance on equipment and machines such as CNC Drill lines, Plate Processor, and overhead cranes.
  • General Maintenance: Perform a range of plumbing and carpentry tasks.
  • Tool Usage: Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
  • Quality Control: Detect faulty operations and defective material and report any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Participate in the safety program and maintain clean work areas.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma/GED required. A degree in electrical maintenance or completion of a craft apprenticeship is a plus.
  • Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Basic math skills are essential.
  • Experience: Must have safe working habits, be highly motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Experience with 480 volt-3 needed
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently, with heavier weight necessary at times.
