Job summary

Arcosa Shoring Products in Mason, MI is seeking a 2nd shift Fitter/Welder to layout, position, align, and fit metal parts according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, and schematics; and to tack-weld pieces together using MIG welders.

The role involves fitting sub-assemblies, welding to tolerances, and ensuring accuracy of measurements. Ideal candidates will have MIG welding experience, ability to read drawings, and an AWS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year MIG welding experience.
• Qualified to weld steel and aluminum.
• Ideal candidate will hold an AWS Certification.
• Experience reading specifications, shop drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Must be able to pass a 2 part weld test as part of the interview process.

Arcosa Shoring Products, is seeking a 2nd shift Fitter/Welder in our Mason, MIplant to meet increased production demands. As aFitter/Welder, you’ll lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of metal according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches in preparation for welding. You’ll also tack-weld pieces together using mig welders.

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 4pm - 1:30am
