Vibration Mountings and Controls Inc is seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter for the 2nd shift to fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment. This full-time role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will read blueprints, weld to specification, measure parts with calipers, and inspect final products for quality. Responsibilities include soldering, working with ductwork, and collaborating with teammates to maintain a safe, efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Proficient in welding techniques, including stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
• Familiarity with operating press brake machines is a plus.

Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. As a Welder/Fitter - 2nd Shift, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities not limited to:

• Perform welding and soldering tasks to join metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Use basic math skills to measure, cut, and shape metal pieces
• Operate various tools and equipment such as welding machines, grinders, and calipers
• Assemble and weld components according to specifications
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements

Skills - To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

• Proficient in various welding techniques, including stick welding
• Knowledge of ductwork fabrication and installation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
• Familiarity with operating press brake machines is a plus
