Job Title: Fitter

Pay: $23.34–$30.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | Must work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and two additional days during the week

Location: Sand Springs, OK

Position Overview



We are currently seeking experienced Fitter Welders for a client located in Sand Springs, OK. This role requires a minimum of five years of fitting experience with pressure vessels and heat exchangers. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical knowledge and a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship.



Key Responsibilities



• Fit metal components to set standards and codes in the assembly and manufacturing of pressure vessels and heat exchangers

• Utilize extensive knowledge of thermal cutting and welding processes

• Read and interpret AutoCAD prints for specifications and dimensions

• Operate oxy/fuel cutting torches and Plas-Arc machines proficiently

• Perform tack welding in compliance with code and welding procedures

• Apply strong mathematical skills and an understanding of geometry to ensure precise fits

• Work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks on schedule and safely

• Exhibit strong teamwork skills to contribute effectively to group goals

• Demonstrate a company-oriented mindset and take pride in high-quality work

• Maintain punctuality and dependability, with the flexibility to work outside standard hours when necessary

• Consistently achieve a fit-up rejection rate of less than 5%
