Job summary

Coperion in the United States is seeking a welder to join our manufacturing team in Kansas. The role involves welding and fitting, setting up and laying out metal parts to form finished products, while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Responsibilities include inspecting welds for quality and making repairs as necessary. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior welding experience is preferred to contribute to production efficiency.

Essential Job Functions: Performs welding and/or fitting, set-up, and layout of raw and formed metal in the creation of metal products. Cleans and/or grinds welds. Performs general basic maintenance on equipment and workstation ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly work environment. Checks quality of welds, repairing as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Prior Welding experience preferred. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Skill in reading blueprints and technical instructions preferred.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.
