Job Description: Fitter/Welder at Industrial Equipment Fabricators Inc.

The company is ASME certified and dedicated to developing long-term customer relationships.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Ellwood City, PA, for a Fitter/Welder. The role involves fitting and welding various materials according to project specifications. Daily responsibilities include fitting weldments from drawings, ensuring correct material cuts and fits, and collaborating with the fabrication team to meet project deadlines. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Fabricator, Fitter, Welder, or similar trade
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Experience with fabrication, fitting, and welding techniques, and equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and saws
• Welding certifications such as AWS or API are preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards is a plus
• Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, chop saws, plasma cutters, and other industrial equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is advantageous

Compensation:
