Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Fitter or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fitter Technician to join our team in Atlanta. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment in our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment, identifying any issues or potential problems
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on machinery and equipment as needed
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing diagnostic tools as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the facility

Working Conditions
