Job summary

ForceShield, Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Fitter - Pipe Fabricator to fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical piping systems in accordance with blueprints and specifications.

This full-time role requires reading blueprints, cutting and assembling pipes, welding where needed, testing systems for leaks, and maintaining accurate work records. A valid CA driver’s license and ability to work on-site in LA are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fitter or Pipe Fabricator in the mechanical industry.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools related to pipe fabrication.
• Knowledge of welding techniques MIG/TIG/ARC preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install pipes using hand or power tools.
• Assemble and install valves, fittings, flanges, and other components on pipes.
• Weld or braze pipes using appropriate equipment.
• Test installed systems for leaks or other defects.
• Repair or modify existing systems as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter - Pipe Fabricator to join our team in Los Angeles As a Fitter - Pipe Fabricator you will be responsible for fabricating assembling and installing mechanical systems in accordance with blueprints and specifications This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per week

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints sketches and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
• Measure cut thread bend and install pipes using hand or power tools
• Assemble and install valves fittings flanges and other components on pipes
• Weld or braze pipes together using appropriate equipment
• Test installed systems for leaks or other defects
• Repair or modify existing systems as needed
• Maintain accurate records of work performed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fitter or Pipe Fabricator in the mechanical industry
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
• Proficient in using hand and power tools related to pipe fabrication
• Knowledge of welding techniques MIGTIGARC is preferred but not required
• Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required certification or vocational training in pipe fitting preferred
• Valid drivers license with reliable transportation to job sites throughout Los Angeles county
• Fluent English communication skills verbal and written
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
