Job summary

Judd Fire Protection LLC is urgently seeking a Fire Sprinkler Fitter to install, maintain, and repair fire protection systems in commercial and residential settings. You will work closely with foremen, follow safety protocols, and travel to job sites as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience installing sprinkler or fire protection systems, reads blueprints, and holds a valid driver's license. NICET certification and OSHA 10 are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• U.S. work authorization required.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background/reference checks.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Experience reading construction blueprints.
• NICET Level I or II preferred.
• OSHA 10 and related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lift at least 50 pounds.
• Climb ladders and perform physical tasks.
• Drive to job sites and work at various locations.
• Submit written job progress reports.
• Provide technical guidance to team members.
• Read and interpret construction blueprints and diagrams.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
• Attend training sessions and meetings.
• Install, assemble, and trim fire protection systems.

Position Overview

Team members will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems.

• This role requires working closely with the foreman and team members, following all safety protocols, and properly handling tools and equipment.
• Work will be performed in commercial and residential buildings.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lift at least 50 pounds
• Climb ladders and perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching above and below shoulders, and walking for extended periods
• Drive to job sites and work at various locations
• Submit written job progress reports for assigned projects
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members
• Read and interpret construction blueprints and diagrams
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Properly maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools
• Attend and participate in training sessions and meetings
• Install, assemble, and trim fire protection systems

Education

Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience installing sprinkler or fire protection systems
• Blueprint reading experience

License / Certification

• Valid Driver’s License (Required) – Must have a clean driving record
• NICET Level I or II (Preferred)
• Completion of an accredited industry training program (Preferred)
• OSHA 10, Lift, Tool & CPVC Pipe Certifications (Preferred but not required)

Travel Requirement

• Up to 100% travel to job sites
