Job summary

Judd Fire Protection LLC is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. You will install, maintain, and repair fire protection systems in commercial and residential buildings, working closely with the foreman and crew.

Candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment; a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 100% may be required. OSHA 10 and NICET preferred, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Fire Sprinkler Fitter

Position Overview

Team members will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems.

• This role requires working closely with the foreman and team members, following all safety protocols, and properly handling tools and equipment.
• Work will be performed in commercial and residential buildings.

We are seeking highly motivated, dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individuals who can multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Lift at least 50 pounds
• Climb ladders and perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching above and below shoulders, and walking for extended periods
• Drive to job sites and work at various locations
• Submit written job progress reports for assigned projects
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members
• Read and interpret construction blueprints and diagrams
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Properly maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools
• Attend and participate in training sessions and meetings
• Install, assemble, and trim fire protection systems

Experience

• Blueprint reading experience

License / Certification

• Valid Driver’s License (Required) – Must have a clean driving record
• NICET Level I or II (Preferred)
• Completion of an accredited industry training program (Preferred)
• OSHA 10, Lift, Tool & CPVC Pipe Certifications (Preferred but not required)

Travel Requirement

• Up to 100% travel to job sites
