Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a skilled pipefitter for an on-site role at Manning, SC. You will report to the site Manager and support nuclear plant assignments, including planning, layout, and execution of piping installations and maintenance.

The role requires a minimum five years of pipefitting craft experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a relevant technical education. Nuclear background and fitness for duty are required.

Qualifications

• Five years pipefitting craft experience.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Diploma or applicable education from a trade or technical school in industrial maintenance may qualify for part of experience requirement.
• Nuclear background and fitness for duty including medical and pre-employment drug screen.
• 18 years of age.

• Plan, layout, and execute jobs.
• Fabricate, install, repair, replace and maintain piping, plumbing, sewers, fixtures, filters, valves, air compressors, water meters, radiant heaters, controls, pumps, vacuum, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

About the role:

You will report to nuclear plants for assignments.

You will work on site.

You will report to the site Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, layout, and execute jobs.
• Fabricate, install, repair, replace and maintain piping, plumbing, sewers, fixtures, filters, valves, air compressors, water meters, radiant heaters, controls, pumps (including cooling tower and chilled water pumps), vacuum, pneumatic and hydraulic, fire, water and waste systems throughout the plant site, including the Ultra Filters along with the sanitary waste and the industrial waste treatment facilities.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years pipefitting craft experience.
• Diploma or applicable education from a trade or technical school in industrial maintenance may qualify for part of experience requirement.
• Experience with pumping, delivery and discharge systems .
• 18 years of age
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent
• Nuclear background, fitness for duty which includes medical and pre-employment drug screen
