Job summary

Planet Fitness in Moncks Corner, SC, is seeking a friendly Fitness Trainer to lead our Judgement Free Zone and support members on their fitness journeys. You will create class schedules, guide members on safe equipment use, and promote a welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, reliability, and teamwork. We offer benefits including insurance, paid time off, free Black Card membership, retirement savings, and tuition reimbursement. CPR/AED certification and training provided.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create a class schedule for members, including Orientation and DYOP (Develop your own program).
• Proactively engage with members on the club floor regarding their fitness goals; instruct them on how to safely use the equipment and provide support as needed.
• Promote our Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members on the club floor, offering assistance and showing support in their fitness journeys while upholding club policies.
• Frequently perform a comprehensive walk of all fitness areas to ensure a great member experience. Quickly address issues as they are identified.
• Perform prospective member calls and tours; assessing their membership needs and offering Trainer services.
