Reporting to the Regional Fitness Manager, the Fitness Trainer will be responsible for running the Planet Fitness group program (PE@PF) while supporting the club manager to drive member retention and club revenue. This includes assisting new members in achieving their fitness goals by designing simple workout programs and instructing them on the proper use of equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct and run the PE@PF program, including fitness consultations and introducing members to the benefits of our program.
• Assist members on the gym floor with proper use of equipment and engage their interest in the PE@PF program.
• Support club staff in maintaining cleanliness of the club, including the 30-minute circuit room, PF 360 area, and weight racks/re-racking as needed.
• Support front desk operations as needed, such as checking in members, conducting club tours, handling info calls, and greeting visitors.
• Maintain participation logs for each facilitated class to monitor program performance.
• Maintain accredited certifications throughout employment, including Personal Training and CPR.
• Complete company-assigned trainings and pursue additional learning as directed.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Reach and feel with hands, fingers, and arms for 75% of shift.
• Communicate verbally with members and staff.
• Regularly bend and squat.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 100 pounds.
