Job summary

Woodfield Country Club is seeking a Fitness Supervisor to assist the Manager with daily operations and supervise our fitness staff in a busy wellness center featuring a full fitness area, spa & salon operations, aquatics, and a café.

The role requires leadership of fitness programming, creation of wellness experiences for an active membership, and maintaining high service standards. The ideal candidate is outgoing, motivating, with strong communication, time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or luxury resort setting is preferred.
• Availability to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays required.
• Additional professional fitness certifications (water aerobics, Zumba, Spinning, yoga, Pilates) preferred.
• Must have excellent communications and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fitness staff and oversee programming.
• Coordinate and maintain high levels of service in the Fitness center.
• Create wellness experiences for the active membership and assist in scheduling and budgeting.

OurFitnessSupervisormust have the ability to effectively supervise staff as well as oversee fitnessprogramming and assist in the creation of wellness experiences forour active membership. Our selected candidate willhave an outgoing personality and will be able to manage and motivate others, as well as have excellent communication skills, excellent time management and organizational skills. Our selected candidate will supervise, coordinate and maintain high levels of service in the Fitness center by monitoring the proper sequence of service in conjunction with the Fitness Manager and the Director of Cascades.
Requirements:

• Availability to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays required.
• Additional professional fitness teaching certifications preferred including: water aerobics, Zumba, Spinning, yoga, and/or Pilates
• Responsible for creating monthly schedules, staffing classes, payroll, and budgeting
• Must have excellent communications and customer service skills
• Ability to work as necessary, mornings, weekends and holidays
• Prior experience in hospitality, luxury resort and/or country club
