Join Our Team as a Fitness Specialist - Voorhees, NJ

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Fitness Specialist to join our growing team in Voorhees, NJ. This part-time position involves 5 hours per week, focusing on helping older adults maintain their functional levels through exercise programs prescribed post-rehabilitation.

About FOX Rehabilitation

Founded in 1998, FOX was the first private practice in the country to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for the older adult population. Our goal is to restore quality of life through evidence-based therapy and innovative treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement exercise programs for patients to maintain their functional levels after discharge from rehabilitation services.
  • Provide ongoing support and encouragement to patients to promote wellness and independence.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Exercise Physiology; or prior experience as a fitness trainer.
  • Certified Personal Trainer through a recognized organization (e.g., ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA) preferred, or willingness to become certified.
  • CPR certification.
  • Experience working with older adults in a wellness setting is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Routine travel to patient residences and senior living communities; ability to expand territory as needed.
