The Fitness Specialist provides group and individual instruction and education to participants of varying age, ability, and health status across programs such as Cardiac Rehab, Safeway to Fitness, Personal Training, Transitional Exercise, Group Exercise, Youth Fitness, Bariatric, general membership, and other department offerings. The role also involves coordinating one or more of these programs and assisting the Healthworks team with daily operations.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Basic Life Support Required; Certified Personal Trainer or Certified Exercise Specialist preferred.

• Experience: 2 years of fitness or clinical exercise experience in healthcare preferred.
