Role overview

As a Fitness Manager, you will support the General Manager in running the gym successfully and will deputize in their absence. You will be passionate about fitness and embody our values, supporting and encouraging your team and members.

Core duties include:

1. Leading member engagement to improve satisfaction scores.
2. Managing and motivating the team of fitness trainers.
3. Developing the group exercise timetable and upskilling the team.
4. Driving the gym’s commercial performance.
5. Ensuring high operational standards, liaising with third-party suppliers.
6. Maintaining health & safety compliance through regular checks.
7. Supporting admin tasks like rotas, time tracking, and security.
8. Acting as a keyholder and emergency contact.

You may also have the opportunity to PT in the gym around your hours, managing your own time and earnings.

Ideal candidate:

• Passionate about health, fitness, and wellbeing.
• Experienced in leading teams by example.
• Committed to understanding member expectations.
• Able to operate within compliance and deliver excellent service.
• Proven success in fitness management.
• Level 2 qualified Fitness Instructor or studying towards it.
