Job description

We are currently expanding our team at Pure Barre Edgewater, NJ and seeking dynamic and confident individuals to teach Pure Barre technique at our Studio. Pure Barre is the national leader in barre fitness. Pure Barre is a musically driven, total body workout focused on low-impact, high intensity movements designed to strengthen and tone muscles. This is the perfect opportunity to interact with clients on a daily basis, help create a supportive and meaningful community, and join a prestigious national brand.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Passion for Pure Barre and prior knowledge of the brand is a plus, but NOT required!
  2. Background in dance, cheerleading, or fitness is helpful, but NOT required.
  3. Musicality and the ability to lead a room of 20+ people are a must!
  4. Friendly, reliable, highly skilled at multitasking.
  5. Passion for fitness, wellness and helping others.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Teach a minimum of 6 classes per week (classes are offered early mornings, daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
  2. Plan and prepare before each class, including diligent study of choreography.
  3. Learn full choreography changes on a quarterly basis.
  4. Assist with keeping the studio tidy.
  5. Ability to lift hand weights, demonstrate full body pushups, and maintain high-energy for 55-minute class.

All candidates are required to complete a 4-day training course at one of our corporate training centers, significant 'at home' study, as well as obtain certification before being eligible to teach classes. Minimum one-year commitment to teaching required before attending 4-day training.
