Job summary

Planet Fitness in Piqua, OH is seeking a Fitness Trainer to welcome members, provide guidance, and lead small-group sessions. This role emphasizes the Judgement Free Zone and a safe, inclusive atmosphere while promoting health goals.

You'll conduct new member orientations, design group classes, assist on the gym floor, maintain equipment safety, and support front desk and club events. This on-site daytime position offers an hourly wage and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Onsite work required; no remote work.
• Nationally Certified Trainer credential required.
• CPR/AED certification required; obtain within required timeframe.
• Tanning certification within company-required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Lead small-group fitness classes aligned with Planet Fitness standards.
• Conduct new member orientations and teach safe use of gym equipment.
• Provide general fitness instruction and encouragement, not one-on-one personal training.
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere and promote the Judgement Free Zone.
• Build member relationships to encourage participation and retention.
• Maintain a clean, safe workout environment and report issues promptly.
• Support front desk operations and assist with club events and promotions.
