We are seeking enthusiastic and qualified instructors and personal trainers to join our team at a vibrant community center serving individuals of all ages. Ideal candidates will have experience leading group fitness classes or providing one-on-one training, with specific qualifications in areas such as aquatic fitness, strength training, senior-focused classes (e.g., SilverSneakers), and dance fitness formats such as Zumba. Morning hours are currently available, making this a great opportunity for fitness professionals who enjoy creating positive, engaging experiences for community members in a supportive and energetic environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to design high-quality, up-to-date, scientifically sound, safe, and effective group fitness classes for a variety of ability levels.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all client information.
  • Effective communication skills with clientele and staff.
  • Positive team leadership and supervision capabilities.
  • Ability to relate positively and energetically with coworkers and participants.
  • Maintain a non-judgmental attitude when working with coworkers and participants.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.
  • Regularly walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach.
  • Lift/move up to 20 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Ability to operate a telephone and computer, and access/produce information from a computer.
