We Are Hiring

• Department: Cardiac Rehabilitation
• Schedule: Full Time,40 hours weekly, Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8am - 5:30pm, Tuesday, Thursday 8am - 3:30pm
• Hospital: Ascension Via Christi St Francis
• Location: Wichita, KS

What You Will Do

Provide instruction on physical fitness as it relates to all aspects of general health and wellness.

• Design fitness programs for various patient populations.
• Organize and instruct exercise classes for all fitness levels.
• Ensure that all participants are properly trained on the use of the facility's exercise equipment.
• Develop and market general health and wellness programs.
• Present educational lectures/programs throughout the community.
• Oversee and ensure appropriate use and maintenance of Fitness Center equipment.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

• Rehab experience preferred.
