Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated Fitness Instructor to lead engaging classes at The Flamingo Resort & Spa. This role focuses on guest-centered health and wellness, delivering safe workouts, and creating memorable experiences for guests from around the world in a resort environment.

You will teach a range of classes, ensure safety, and uphold cleanliness and service standards across fitness facilities and studios within the resort.

Qualifications

• Experience as fitness instructor, personal trainer, or group exercise leader.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for guest service.
• Certification(s) in fitness instruction or related specialty.
• CPR/AED certification preferred.
• Ability to lead a variety of class formats and fitness levels.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and team-oriented personality.

Responsibilities

• Provide, teach, and facilitate individual and group exercise instruction for members and guests.
• Deliver safe and effective workouts through observation, corrections, and questions.
• Stay current on fitness techniques, trends, and best practices.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional assistance with inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and equipment in line with standards.
• Monitor facility use to ensure guest safety and guideline adherence.

The Flamingo Resort & Spa is a mid-century marvel in The Valley of the Moon. The buildings, rendered with natural materials and iconic angular silhouettes, are the work of master architect Homer A. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Instructor who is customer‑focused and passionate about health and wellness. The Fitness Instructor will be responsible for leading engaging fitness classes of varying levels, ensuring guest safety, and creating a memorable wellness experience that complements their escape at our resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide, teach, and facilitate individual and group exercise instruction for members and guests
• Deliver safe and effective workouts through observation, corrections, and answering questions
• Stay current on fitness techniques, trends, and best practices
• Perform opening and closing procedures, as needed
• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional assistance with inquiries and service needs
• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas, including fitness facilities, studios, locker rooms, and equipment, in line with company and regulatory standards
• Monitor facility use to ensure guest safety and adherence to guidelines

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience as a fitness instructor, personal trainer, or group exercise leader (hospitality experience a plus)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for guest service

Compensation

• $20.00
