HealthFitness is seeking a Fitness Floor Attendant for a client site in Beaumont, Texas. You will be the welcoming face, supervise the exercise floor, engage with members, answer questions, and help create a safe, motivating atmosphere for all participants.

This part-time role offers weekday shifts (12:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 4:00 PM - 9:15 PM) with some weekend availability, about 10 hours per week. CPR/First Aid certifications must be obtained within 30 days of start; wage is $10.00 per hour and

In this role, you’ll be the welcoming face of the fitness center, providing exercise floor supervision, engaging with members, answering questions, and helping create a safe, supportive, and motivating atmosphere for all participants.

Schedule

• Part-time, approximately 10 hours per week
• Weekday shifts available:
  • 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • 4:00 PM - 9:15 PM
• Some weekend availability required

Responsible for providing exercise floor supervision and interacting with members and program participants within the fitness center.

Key Accountabilities

• Interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety.
• Welcomes members by greeting, answering questions, responding to requests while at front desk and input data into membership system.
• Performs facility maintenance responsibilities; ensures facility, equipment and locker rooms are clean and always stocked.
• Understand and execute the Emergency Medical Procedures throughout the facility.
• Demonstrate and instruct on the proper use of exercise equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• CPR/AED & First Aid certifications from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of start date.
• Prior fitness and customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Computer application knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) strongly preferred.
• Physical demands require having the ability to lift up to 40 lb. weights for restacking.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity.

Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. The compensation for this role is $10.00 per hour. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
