Responsibilities

• Greet all members enthusiastically in the Fitness Area, Fitness Desk, & Welcome Desk.
• Develop relationships, provide assistance, and be responsive to member needs.
• Champion consistent communications. Wear and use walkie talkies during shifts.
• Model and enforce the J's policies.
• Promote and educate members on the J's programs, services, and activities offered.
• Schedule Health and Fitness Orientations.
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly Fitness Center. Keep towels stocked and folded. Conduct locker room, sauna, and steam room checks.
• Ensure members have good experiences by performing daily checks on all audio, electronic and fitness equipment. Notify maintenance of any issues by J's designated practices.
• Complete all tasks outlined in Daily Tasks Communication Binder, as well as additional responsibilities assigned by management.
• Be a great team player to peers. Provide break relief to the Welcome Desk Staff when needed.
• Know your stuff! Attend all department and required meetings.
• Complete all personal administrative responsibilities, such as accurate payroll records.
• Ability to work non-traditional business hours

Education

• High School Diploma
