Job summary

Life Time, Inc. in Framingham, MA is seeking a Fitness Equipment Technician to maintain and repair fitness equipment in our resort‑style club. No experience is required; on‑the‑job training is provided to ensure safety and quality for our members.

You will perform preventative maintenance, track repairs, and coordinate parts and scheduling while coordinating with club management. A strong focus on safety and member experience is essential, and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Less than 1 year of experience in a related field is acceptable.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment on the fitness floor is operating safely.
• Keeps record of repairs performed on equipment.
• Maintains electrical components, audio/video systems, basic plumbing and overall general building tasks.
• Performs preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is working.
• Updates purchase orders, orders parts for repairs, and creates a timeframe for part delivery.
• Helps the Department Head with managing the budget.
