Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Fitness Equipment Technician to maintain and repair fitness equipment within our resort-style environment. You’ll be trained on the job, ensuring safety and performing preventative maintenance.

A key part is coordinating with club management to schedule repairs and enhancements. No prior experience is required; high school diploma or GED is sufficient, with CPR/AED certification due within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of related experience.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.
• On-the-job training provided for all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fitness equipment on the sales floor operates safely.
• Keep records of repairs performed on equipment.
• Maintain electrical components, audio/video systems, and basic plumbing.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment functioning.
• Update purchase orders and parts orders; coordinate delivery timelines.
• Assist Department Head with budget management.
