Job summary

LIVunLtd is seeking a Fitness Equipment Technician Apprentice to diagnose, service, repair, and maintain fitness equipment while delivering world-class customer service. You will manage a busy schedule for diverse clients and represent LIVunLtd professionally on-site.

The role offers growth along a technician career path and opportunities within the company’s broader initiatives. Must have legal right to work in the United States and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Be able to lift/move fitness equipment & parts up to 50 lbs, some heavier (125 lbs).
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and insurance; clear an MVR check.
• Excellent work habits; punctual and presentable.
• Comfort with computers, Microsoft OS, iPad, wifi, email and phone.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, calibrate, test fitness equipment during service visits.
• Travel to clients using company vehicle.
• Evaluate equipment for repair; prepare parts list and labor estimates.
• Complete repairs; test machine for full operation.
• Communicate schedule and status to customers.
• Identify additional revenue opportunities for service, PM contracts, or new equipment.

Our Fitness Equipment Technician Apprentice program is crafted to develop individuals into Fitness Equipment Technicians. Whereas a Fitness Equipment Technician, you are responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining fitness equipment while delivering world-class customer service and being a professional representative of LIVunLtd. Successful candidates must be able to manage a schedule full of jobs for a variety of demanding customers. You are the face of LIVunLtd we need the best.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities

• Inspect, calibrate, and clean and test fitness equipment (treadmills, rowing machines, ellipticals, etc) during Service Contract visits
• Travel to clients by utilizing a company vehicle
• Evaluate equipment for repair; prepare parts list and labor estimates for a repair quote to be provided to customer
• Complete repairs with parts ordered; test that machine is back in full working order
• Provide communication to customer both in scheduling times to come out and what is going on with their equipment
• Look for additional opportunities for revenue from service/warranty work and PM contracts on additional machines
• Look for additional opportunities for incremental revenue for new equipment and/or fitness accessories

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle at all times
• Maintain proper inventory levels and count accuracy at all times
• Complete vehicle maintenance needs as directed by the fleet operations manager
• Follow with Company Uniform Policy

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Be able to lift/move fitness equipment & parts to 50 lbs, some in excess of 125 lbs.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Maintain a valid driver's license and insurance and clear an MVR Check.
• Must have excellent work habits, be punctual and presentable at all times
• Proficiency and working knowledge of computers, Microsoft OS, iPad, wifi, email and cell phone technology
