Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, MI is seeking a Fitness Coordinator to join our Laurium fitness team. The role involves building and maintaining a client base through equipment introductions and personal training sessions, with occasional fitness classes and active community engagement.

Full-time position (0.9 FTE, 72 hours per pay period) with varied shifts and occasional weekends. Experience in health/fitness fields and CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days are preferred/required.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in health or fitness field preferred.

• Proficient in using gym equipment and safety protocols.
• Strong customer service skills required.

Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, MI is seeking a FITNESS COORDINATOR to join our LAURIUM FITNESS team!

The Fitness Coordinator builds and maintains client base by conducting equipment introductions and personal training sessions. May teach fitness classes. Maintains a high profile in the community and an interactive working relationship with the current membership on a daily basis.

HOURS:

Full Time; 0.9 FTE or 72 hours per pay period. Varied Shifts. Occasional weekend.

Experience/Qualifications

• Degree or certification and experience in a health or fitness field preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Computer knowledge and ability to multitask required.
• Must have a general knowledge of the fitness industry and proper use of equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills are a must.
