Position Overview

The Front Desk/Receptionist will greet and direct members, guests, and staff as they enter the gym and provide control of the front door location. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday: 8am-2pm.

Responsibilities:

1. Enthusiastically greet each member and guest promptly using the proper greeting for the time of day to create a friendly positive entrance and departure to and from the gym.
2. Personally check each member into the gym using the proper check-in procedures.
3. Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedures.
4. Provide new guests with a tour of the gym and help answer questions about current membership options.
5. Assist guests with purchasing a new membership.
6. Answer the phone in a professional and courteous manner and use proper phone greeting techniques.
7. Process retail and concession sales.
8. Clean and maintain the front desk area.

Requirements:

1. Excellent customer service skills.
2. Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and members.
3. Ability to multi-task.
4. Sales experience preferred.
