Job Description

Be fit. Change lives. Have fun. We seek committed fitness professionals to inspire others, motivate, and ensure safe, effective workouts. Join Orangetheory as a Fitness Coach to lead science-backed, technology-tracked workouts, making members feel welcome and motivated.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
2. Helping members set and achieve goals
3. Ensuring correct exercise form and providing corrections
4. Understanding heart-rate-focused training science and monitoring competitor activity
5. Being a team player
6. Availability to coach at least 8 classes/week
7. Immersing in studio culture

Qualifications

1. Fitness certification from ACE, NASM, AFAA, NSCA, ACSM; current AED/CPR; 10+ hours/year continuing education
2. Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, heart rate-based training; 2+ years personal training preferred; Microsoft Office skills a plus
3. Strong communication, organization, multitasking, customer service skills, team mindset

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift/move up to 80 pounds, stand for the duration of workouts, and demonstrate exercises with equipment.
