Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a passionate Fitness Instructor to lead science-backed, technology-tracked workouts and serve as a brand ambassador for the OTF community.

You will guide members through pre-defined workouts, ensure proper form, and demonstrate equipment usage while maintaining a clean studio. Certification requirements and a team-centered mindset are essential to help members achieve personal goals.

Qualifications

• Certified fitness professional through an approved program (ACE/ACSM/ISSA/NASM/NSCA).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current AED/CPR certification.
• Completion of the Orangetheory Fitness OTFi t Certification Program.
• Strong understanding of strength and heart-rate based interval training.
• Experience in a fitness environment (preferred).
• Team player committed to growth and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Guide and motivate members through pre-defined workouts.
• Ensure members use proper form and offer adjustments as needed.
• Demonstrate usage of studio fitness equipment.
• Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of the studio.
• Stay up to date on science behind heart-rate based training and industry trends.
• Build connections and grow your personal brand within the fitness community.
• Help members set and achieve personal fitness goals.

Life of a Fitness Coach at Orangetheory:

• Guiding and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
• Ensuring members are using correct form and offering adjustments if needed
• Demonstrate usage of fitness equipment utilized for each workout
• Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of the state-of-the-art studio
• Understanding the science behind our strength and heart-rate focused training programs, and staying up to date on active fitness industry trends
• Building meaningful connections and creating community as you expand your personal brand and network within the fitness industry
• Positively changing the lives of others by helping members set and achieve personal fitness goals

Are you Qualified?

• Currently fitness certified from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness:
  • ACE, ACSM, ISSA, NASM, NSCA
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current AED/CPR certification
• Successful completion of the OTFit Certification Program
• Have a functional understanding of strength and heart rate-based interval training
• Experience working in a fitness environment (preferred)
• A team player committed to growth and excellence
