Job description

The Fitness Coach is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience and delivering great member service and Private Training. Coaches are responsible for the successful attainment of revenue goals pertaining to Private Training and Supplements. This position requires a minimum of one day on the weekend.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Execution on Key Metrics

1. Sell and conduct private and small group training with members.
2. Assist members and encourage member involvement in private training.
3. Ensure accurate administration of client programs (dotFIT, supplements, measurement tracking, workouts, etc).
4. Arrive on time, prepared and attentive for training appointments.
5. Assist in revenue generating activities (complimentary workouts, supplement booths, body fat tables, workshops).
6. Achieve personal monthly revenue objectives as set forth by the company in sessions, PT and supplement sales.
7. Conduct guest tours, and complete sales when needed through the Turn-Over process.
8. Execute an effective prospecting strategy by performing “Starter Sessions” and other prospecting activities.

Member Experience

1. Focus on changing lives through Service, Science and Sales.
2. Be a brand ambassador of UFC Gym and its “Train Different” philosophy.
3. Bring T.R.A.I.N (Timely, Ready, Aware, Inspiring, Noble) to life.
4. Conduct safe and effective private training sessions.
5. Maintain the organization and neat presentation of the fitness floor and training spaces.
6. Respond professionally to requests and inquiries from guests, members and staff.

Miscellaneous

1. Follow all policies and procedures regarding payment transactions.
2. Document daily workouts for liability (adherence to national certification standards).
3. Be knowledgeable of club facility and services.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

1. In depth knowledge of Private Training techniques from assessment to program design.
2. Must be able to adjust and operate all Fitness Equipment.
3. Knowledge of company policies, practices and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude.
6. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
7. Possess a strong customer service focus.
8. Respond professionally to requests and inquiries from guests, members and staff.
9. Strong organizational and time management skills. Understands basic record keeping practices.
10. Must be computer proficient with basic skills in Word and Excel.
11. Ability to work, setup and execute successful weekends.

Minimum Certifications/Educational Level:

1. Current dotFIT certification (or in progress)
2. Current CPR/AED certification (or in progress)
3. Certification from organization recognized by UFC Gym (or in progress)
4. High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
5. 4-year Degree in a related field recognized by UFC Gym (preferred)
6. Current USA Wrestling Copper Certified (for wrestling coaches)

Minimum Experience:

1. Six months of related experience (preferred)
