Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness is seeking energetic Fitness Coaches to lead our science-backed, heart-rate focused workouts in a studio setting. You will guide members through 60-minute sessions, help them set and achieve goals, and ensure proper form while providing corrections to optimize results.

We emphasize connection with clients, certification readiness, and a pathway to growth with a six-month track to Head Fitness Coach.

Qualifications

• Certification required or ability to obtain one (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or NCCA accredited equivalent).
• Ability to connect with and motivate others to help members reach goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate members through pre-defined workouts.
• Help members set and achieve goals.
• Ensure correct form and offer corrections as needed.
• Understand heart-rate focused training concepts and how to use equipment.
• Demonstrate proper use of all workout equipment.

Day In The Life of a Fitness Coach

• Lead and motivate members through pre-defined workouts
• Help members set and achieve goals
• Make sure members are using correct form and offering corrections if they aren’t
• Understand the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing
• Know how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout

Requirements

• No degree is needed. We require a national fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or NCCA accredited equivalent) or the ability to obtain a certification.
• We’re looking for individuals who can genuinely connect with and motivate others.
