Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in Lakeland, TN is hiring Fitness Coaches to lead coach-inspired, science-backed, and technology-tracked workouts. No degree is required, but a national fitness certification or ability to obtain one is necessary.

You will motivate members, ensure proper form, and guide them through heart-rate based training in a dynamic group setting. Starting pay is competitive at $25 per hour based on experience, with performance-based increases and potential incentives.

Qualifications

• No degree is required. A national fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or NCCA accredited equivalent) or the ability to obtain one.
• We seek individuals who can genuinely connect with and motivate others.

Responsibilities

Day In The Life of a Fitness Coach:

• Lead and motivate members through pre-defined workouts
• Help members set and achieve goals
• Make sure members are using correct form and offering corrections if they aren't
• Understand the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing
• Know how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout

Requirements
