Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a passionate Fitness Coach to lead our science-backed, technology-tracked workouts and to serve as a Brand ambassador for the OTF community. This part-time role involves guiding members through pre-defined sessions, ensuring proper form, and helping build a welcoming studio atmosphere.

You will coach roughly 13 classes per week with flexibility for additional sessions.

Qualifications

• Must hold fitness certification from ACE, ACSM, ISSA, NASM or NSCA.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current AED/CPR certification.
• Completion of the OTFit Certification Program.
• Have understanding of strength and heart rate-based interval training.
• Experience in a fitness environment preferred.
• Team player committed to growth and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Guide and motivate members through pre-defined workouts.
• Ensure proper form and offer adjustments as needed.
• Demonstrate usage of equipment for each workout.
• Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of the studio.
• Stay updated on science behind strength and heart-rate training and industry trends.
• Build community and expand your personal brand within the fitness industry.
• Help members set and achieve personal fitness goals and positively change lives.

This position offers part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling; averaging 13 classes per week with the option to coach additional classes as available within your region.

Life of a Fitness Coach at Orangetheory:

• Guiding and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
• Ensuring members are using correct form and offering adjustments if needed
• Demonstrate usage of fitness equipment utilized for each workout
• Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of the state-of-the-art studio
• Understanding the science behind our strength and heart-rate focused training programs, and staying up to date on active fitness industry trends
• Building meaningful connections and creating community as you expand your personal brand and network within the fitness industry
• Positively changing the lives of others by helping members set and achieve personal fitness goals

Are you Qualified?

• Currently fitness certified from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness:
  • ACE, ACSM, ISSA, NASM, NSCA
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current AED/CPR certification
• Successful completion of the OTFit Certification Program
• Have a functional understanding of strength and heart rate-based interval training
• Experience working in a fitness environment (preferred)
• A team player committed to growth and excellence
