Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness is seeking a dynamic Coach to deliver science-based, one-hour workouts in a high-energy group setting. You will lead, motivate, and correct form, focusing on endurance, strength, and power through heart-rate zone training.

Qualifications

• Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness.

• Ability to work and function in an ORANGE TEAM environment (Orange is more than a just a color, it’s an attitude).
• Flexible to work any day, evening and/or weekend hours as needed.

Job description

As an Orangetheory Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for delivering scientifically predesigned workouts per session. This position requires a strong ability to coach, manage time and motivate multiple clients in a group setting. The Coach will deliver a high-energy workout experience. This role must focus on a well-rounded theory of fitness, including endurance, strength, and power, using the tools given to optimize the client’s experience and results. The Coach will report to the Head Coach or Studio Sales & Fitness Manager.

Job Duties Include:

• Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
• Helping members set and achieve goals
• Making sure members are using correct form and offering corrections if they aren’t
• Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing
• Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
• Being a team player

Pay

starting at $17.50/hour - plus earn a per-class coach bonus ranging from $20 - $72 per class

As you gain experience and more hours' coaching you can level up your tier and hourly base.

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism.
