Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness is seeking a dedicated Fitness Coach to deliver high-energy, science-based workouts in a group setting. You will guide members through pre-defined sessions, ensure correct form, and help them achieve their personal goals with attention to heart-rate based training.

This role offers paid training, a base hourly wage with per-class bonuses, and benefits like a free studio membership. Flexible scheduling supports education and personal commitments in a collaborative studio

Qualifications

• Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness.
• Health & Fitness minded people strongly preferred.
• Ability to work and function in an ORANGE TEAM environment (Orange is more than a just a color, it’s an attitude).
• Flexible to work any day, evening and/or weekend hours as needed.

Job description

As an Orangetheory Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for delivering scientifically predesigned workouts per session. This position requires a strong ability to coach, manage time and motivate multiple clients in a group setting. The Coach will deliver a high-energy workout experience. This role must focus on a well-rounded theory of fitness, including endurance, strength, and power, using the tools given to optimize the client’s experience and results. The Coach will report to the Head Coach or Studio Sales & Fitness Manager.

Pay: starting at $17.50/hour - plus earn a per-class coach bonus ranging from $20 - $72 per class

As you gain experience and more hours' coaching you can level up your tier and hourly base.

In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism.
