The Lummi Nation Job Center is seeking a Fitness Center Manager to oversee staff operations, ensure high-quality service, and coordinate health and fitness programs. The role includes member assessments, health screenings, fitness testing, and program development.

You will develop lesson plans, train staff, and serve as a resource for members and special groups. Responsibilities also include equipment maintenance and liaison work with vendors, plus participation on the Safety Committee.

Aufgaben

• Ensures quality of service and supervision of Fitness Center staff.
• Performs new member assessment, health screening, fitness testing, equipment orientation, and exercise program development.
• Advises members on training questions and health/ fitness education.
• Develops lesson plans and class outlines; serves as trainer for special groups and classes.
• Trains other staff in fitness testing and equipment orientations.
• Maintains and repairs exercise equipment.
• Acts as liaison between the Fitness Center and vendors/manufacturers.
• Serves on the Safety Committee of the Lummi Tribal Health Center.
