Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks an Administrative Support to assist daily operations of the NSB Kings Bay MWR Fitness Department. You will help run the Fitness Center, intramural activities, and aquatics programs, ensuring smooth service for patrons and efficient program execution.

Works under direct supervision of the Fitness and/or Sports, Aquatics Program Managers or Fitness Facility and Maintenance Manager. Incumbent uses initiative in completing daily/routine assignments and receives general guidance and supervision. Supervisor provides advice and guidance regarding special problems or unusual situations.
Guidelines consist of Navy Fitness, Sports & Aquatics Support program standards, departmental policies, regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and augmented regulations and procedures issued at local level. Generally accepted procedures found in the fitness, aquatics or sports industry and adopted by reputable organizations are also used.
Work includes extended hours of sitting and standing. Exercise demonstrations and/or prolonged hours may be required. Must have the ability to perform moderately strenuous physical labor, lifting objects weighing up to 45 pounds unassisted and heavier weight with assistance.
The recreation activities overall involve everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of the recreation specialty. There will be periods of time when the employee participates in a specific activity (e.g. leading physical training, moving equipment, carrying aquatics equipment, etc.) that will require special safety precautions. Facilities may be subjected to varying conditions (e.g., variable weather conditions, variable temperatures, humidity, etc.).
