• Experience working with senior populations required.
• Pilates and Yoga experience is a plus.

Job description

We have a full-time opportunity for a Fitness Instructor who will be responsible for developing and coordinating a diverse fitness program focusing on all levels of participation within the senior population, including group exercise classes, balance classes, water classes, and personal training. Must have clear communication skills, present a professional image, and have the passion and ability to work effectively with older people. Current and valid personal training and group exercise instructor certifications through nationally accredited organizations such as ACE, AFAA, NASM, etc., with experience teaching seated chair fitness and aqua classes. Pilates and Yoga experience is a plus. Ideal candidates must have a valid CPR license, effective leadership skills, proficiency with 32-count combination choreography for hi/lo aerobics, and the ability to teach high-energy fitness classes. A valid driver’s license is required. Three to five years of experience in the fitness field is preferred. Experience with the senior population is required.
